Huge congrats to North Stonington country musician
Nick Bosse, who won "Locals Live" at Mohegan Sun Wolf Den December 7! Locals live is a "battle of the bands" contest hosted by Mohegan Sun & Hall Communications. This 4-week contest is held every Wednesday from November 9th – December 7th (excluding November 23rd) from 8-10pm, where 12 local bands and musicians, 4 per week, will compete live at the Wolf Den. The 3 bands/musicians that receive the most overall votes from the audience will compete in the finals on December 7th in front of expert judges to vie for the $5,000 grand prize; 2nd place receives $1,000. In other Nick Bosse news...Nick recently took home the New England Music Awards "Best Male Performer of the Year" this past weekend! Also over the weekend, Nick traveled to Nashville to record 2 of his songs with singer/songwriter/producer Dean Miller. I know I speak for many local music fans when I say we are all so excited for Nick -- can't wait to hear the new songs and see what's next!
