In an effort to continue to meet the ever changing demands of the art market, while still supporting and participating as an active member of a vibrant downtown New London art scene, The Golden Street Gallery, (94 Golden Street), will be closing its doors as a commerical retail gallery and re-opening as kgstudios art + design, an art and design studio and showroom, March 1st.

kgstudios art + design is an evolution and collaboration of artists Kat Murphy and Greg Bowerman, who previously ran Golden Street Gallery. Services will include commissioned interior and exterior murals, Venetian plaster, decorative painting, animal and human designs, curatorial and home art makeover consultaions and much, much more. Hours are by chance and appointment only.

The Golden StreetGallery wishes to thank all of its loyal and steadfast patrons and supporters throughout the past eight and one half years and look forward to taking care of your needs with this exciting new adventure, welcoming in the New Year, 2010.
