Gone For Good
Gone For Good is part of the new crop of bands erupting out of the Connecticut music scene. The band boasts a modern sound with classic overtones, taking cues from every decade of rock ’n’ roll. To hear an audience pinpoint just what they sound like is amusing... "Queens Of The Stone Age." "No, they sound like The Stray Cats." "No way, dude, they sound like Supergrass." A confusing, yet welcome, mix of opinions.
After the untimely passing of their good friend and drummer Josh Lecce in May 2009, the boys in Gone For Good are trying their best to continue on with Josh in their hearts. The band has recruited a close friend and drummer Gene Miller, to continue on writing and performing. The band performed a "comeback show" on May 29, 2010 at The Whalie Awards - a year to the day of Josh's passing - dedicating the performance to him. The band released their last recording with Josh entitled The Bright Lights in September 2010.
You can expect some amazing new things from this band very soon - they've been working hard!!! Stay tuned!!
