Desmonic was formed on New Years Day 2011 by Mike Desmond. Desmonic is a culmination of Desmond's diverse musical influences. Desmond set out to create a sound that was heavy, dark, melodic, yet accessible and groove oriented with deeply personal and evocative lyrical content. Primarily a lead guitarist for bands ranging from LA, to NYC, to Boston, Desmond is most known for his work with Cold Shadow and Living Syndication. For Desmonic, Desmond decided the time was right to form a sound that was completely his creation. Desmond wrote and arranged all songs as well as performing all the instruments and vocals, then engineering, mixing, mastering and producing the album.
