Offhand

A rock band based out of East Lyme, CT. In 2005, Bob Buckley and Nate Belke began an acoustic group. The group performed small shows from Fall '05 to the Summer of '06. All the while with greater intentions. So, in the fall of 2006 Buckley and Belke joined together with drummer Chris Bayreuther and bassist Zach Deford to form the band "Offhand". They spent most of their time jamming in basements, but soon after began playing small venues, writing their own music, and producing a number of original recordings. Currently the band has evolved into a three piece rock band consisting of Belke and Buckley switching between guitar and bass while Bayreuther holds the beat with the kit. Offhand has matured their sound into tighter, more dynamic original music, while covering a wide array of musical styles. Right now the band has been playing at private events, parties, and bars around the great state of Connecticut with hopes of spreading their music as far as they can.

Original Sinners, The

These 4 guys started the Whalie Award winning live music series here in New London called "The Sinners Circle" - singer/songwriters performing in the round. The Sinners Circle usually takes place every couple of months and features one of the original 4 "original sinners" acting as "host" with 3 new singer/songwriters performing in the round.

Paul Brockett Roadshow Band, The

The Paul Brockett Roadshow Band was formed December 2005 in their home of New London, CT. and have spent the last 4 years playing live shows all over the Northeast. Having all come from various backgrounds of music, Paul Brockett, (formerly of Paisley Jungle, Gods Green Teeth, Vera From Alice), Dave Anderson, (an acclaimed gigging & studio musician in NYC) & Meghan Killimade, (formerly of 3$ Depth Charge, April In Nevada and has also sat in with Fatal Film), have created a genre that is truly all their own. Often described as “country inspired rock n’ roll with punk beats”, The Paul Brockett Roadshow Band combines country music story telling, honky tonk fueled foot stompin’ and good old rock n’ roll rhythm that’ll guarantee a thumb-loopin’ good time!
