You may know Meghan & Adam from wailingcity.com. Meghan also plays drums in local band The Paul Brockett Roadshow, and Adam previously played bass for The Hand Grenade Serenade, and now currently runs his own recording studio, Strident Lake. The two formed this side project to do something different music-wise in New London... just bass and drums.

Black Water Blessing

After jamming on and off for a few years, Nick and Chris have shat out the tracks for "a month of sundays" back in january. JP joined the band around february and BWB finished up the recording. Austin joined the band somewhere in there and we started playing shows in march. We recently added a new band member Steve who rocks the axe. Since then we've been rocking out every weekend. We have also been writing tons of new material. Being a hardcore band in SECT is no picnic, but we've made a lot of friends, had a lot of good times, and played with some great bands. What really makes it all worthwhile , though, is when you guys decide to skip the million other things you could do on friday night, and come rage with us. So come to shows, party with us, and bring your dancing shoes. IT'S TIME TO ROCK.

BnF

BnF is the greatest band on the interpiece evar with sick beats and dope ass-rhymes. Starting in 2007, the band has released two dorm-room-albums to absolutely no reviews. People have compared BnF's sound to that of fece-flinging monkeys that are really good with keyboards and music software, adding that the band will be as revolutionary as The Beatles, Kraftwerk, or Raffi. Just kidding. People don't talk about BnF. BnF's newest album, the self-titled "Bombing Buildings & Finding Freedom", presents 13 tracks of post-zompocalypse, videogame obsessed, alcoholic gorilla pirate ranting epicness.  The album will be available from the band's website on Feb 20, 2010.

Botfly

Female fronted Rock. A mixture of hard rocking riffs, funky bass lines, huge drum fills, and powerful singing, Botfly put their feelings and personalities to music. Held together by a bond composed of many different music styles, this up and coming act believes that they have something special to bring to the table. Their music reaches out to many people and often times find the songs as the subject of their humming or whistling throughout the day. The energy of Botfly's music cannot fully be appreciated until one has experienced them live. The energy given off the stage is transferred directly to the audience resulting in a mob of dancing, singing, crazy people all enjoying themselves.
